Preliminary work

1. Remove centre part of underbody panel. -> 519319 Removing and installing cover for centre underbody 519319 Removing and installing Cover For Centre Underbody

Removing rear-axle running gear braces

1. Unscrew fastening screws -arrows-.





Screws for brace (W-brace)

2. Remove brace (W-brace) -1-.
3. Unscrew fastening screws -arrows-.





Running gear braces

4. Remove running gear braces -2-.

Installing rear-axle running gear braces

- The running gear braces are installed in reverse order to removal.
- It is essential to observe the correct tightening torques -> 4X00IN Tightening torques for rear axle .

Subsequent work

- Install centre part of underbody panel -> 519319 Removing and installing cover for centre underbody - section on "Installing" 519319 Removing and installing Cover For Centre Underbody.
