Replacing DME Control Unit With Anti-Theft Protection

  1. Unscrew four fastening screws -1-  on the bracket.

  2. Screw the new anti-theft protection holder -1-  to the new DME control unit with two shear bolts -2-  until the bolt head shears off.

    Do NOT Re-Use  the old anti-theft protection holder as the procedure for removing the two shear bolts would be too complicated.

  3. Screw in four fastening screws -1-  on the bracket. → Tightening Torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ft. lb.)
