Throttle Control Test (Open Position)
- Ensure throttle is not binding on floor mats, and that throttle cable is tight. Remove harness connector from throttle switch. Connect ohmmeter across throttle switch terminals No. 2 and 3. See Figure .
- Open throttle slowly. Resistance should be present just before throttle reaches WOT position. Move throttle to WOT position. Resistance should be present. If resistance is not present, loosen throttle switch adjusting screws, rotate switch to correct switch position and repeat THROTTLE CONTROL TEST (CLOSED POSITION) test.
