Distributor R & I (900 Series)

Remove distributor cap with wiring attached. Unplug harness connector from distributor. Disconnect hose (if equipped). Remove mounting bolts and distributor. To install, rotate distributor shaft until drive tang aligns with slot on camshaft. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation. Adjust ignition timing. Refer to the ADJUSTMENTS article in this section.
