Measurement Data (Electronic Control Module Connections)

This section contains figures and instructions for the measuring of voltage levels on the ICE electronic control module. See Fig 1 .

Remember:

• If nothing else is stated, all voltage measuring should be carried out with all components connected and with the ignition switch in drive position.
• The measuring should be carried out with the Breakout Box (BOB) connected between the electronic control module and the electronic control module's connector.
• Some of the measuring should be carried out with the engine running.
• Some voltage levels must be seen as guidance figures. Use common sense when assessing whether a measurement result is right or wrong.
• If a measurement result is wrong, use the electric wiring diagram to find out which cables, connectors or components need further investigation.
