On-Board Diagnostics

Type of diagnosis: 

• Continuous. But interrupted when fault criteria fulfilled and will not restart until next driving cycle.

Enable criteria: 

• Crankshaft stationary, even after ignition OFF. Car stationary. The other two absolute pressure sensors deviate less than 10 kPa from each other.

Fault criteria: 

• Sensor value differs more than 15 kPa from atmosphere absolute pressure sensor.

Dependents: 

• P0336  and P0337 .

System reaction to a fault: 

• Density compensation of the throttle angle is blocked. Charge air adaptation is blocked and zeroed. As a substitute value the atmospheric pressure sensor is used.

OK report: 

• Fault criteria for P1106 , P1107  or P1108  not fulfilled.
