On-Board Diagnostics
Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous. But interrupted when fault criteria fulfilled and will not restart until next driving cycle.
Enable criteria:
- Engine running.
Fault criteria:
- Voltage from atmosphere absolute pressure sensor lower than 0.200 V for more than 1 s.
Dependents:
- None.
System reaction to a fault:
- Charge air adaptation blocked and zeroed. The charge air pressure start value is used as a substitute value. The purging is blocked. All diagnoses with the general condition that the atmospheric pressure must exceed 72 kPa and the engine coolant and intake air temperature must exceed -7°C are blocked.
OK report:

- Type III.
Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis concerns internal control module fault as the sensor is integrated in the control module.
Functions in the diagnostic tool related to the fault:
- Pressure sensor value, unit kPa.
The value should correspond with that of the other two pressure sensors when the engine is stationary. Accepted deviation: 10 kPa.
