To remove

  1. Raise the car.

  2. Cut the cable tie.
  3. Unplug and detach the connector to the purge device.
  4. Detach the purge device from the filler pipe bracket with a screwdriver.
  5. Clean the purge device.
  6. Remove the top cover over the shut-off valve.
  7. Unplug the connector from the shut-off valve and remove the washer.

  8. Move the cover along the hose so that the hose clip is accessible.
  9. Remove the valve by undoing its hose connection.
