BCM Scan Tool Data Definitions

Front Wiper Switch

The scan tool displays ON or OFF. When the windshield wiper/washer switch is turned to the mist, wash, low, or high positions the scan tool displays ON. When the switch is turned to the delay positions from low the scan tool continues to display ON. Anytime the switch is in the off position the scan tool displays OFF.

Headlamp Wash (input)

The scan tool displays ON or OFF. The tool displays ON when the output is active and OFF when the output is inactive.

Headlamp Wash (output)

The scan tool displays ON or OFF. The tool displays ON when the output is active and OFF when the output is inactive.

Rear Washer Requested

The scan tool displays YES or NO. The scan tool displays YES when it has received a confirmation message from LGM/EGM to activate the rear washer.
