Clearing Trouble Codes
Current codes will be cleared when ignition is turned off. History (past) codes will clear after 100 ignition cycles if fault does not reoccur. Both types of codes can be cleared with Tech 1 scan tester. Disconnecting battery has no effect on stored history codes, but will clear current codes.
