Removal & Installation
- On sedan and wagon, disengage rear seat cushion by pushing rearward, then upward at 2 front retaining locations to release rear cushion from retainers. Slide cushion from under seat back, guiding seat belt buckle through seat cushion. Remove seat cushion. Remove rear seat carpet sill plates.
- Lower rear seat back. Remove body lock trim finish molding by pulling firmly, starting at bottom of molding, to disengage clips. Slide molding out from under body lock pillar upper trim finish molding.
- On coupe, remove rear seat console inserts. Remove rear seat center console fasteners. Disengage seat cushion by pushing rearward, then upward at 2 front retaining locations to release rear cushion from retainers. Slide cushion from under seat back, guiding seat belt buckle through seat cushion and remove seat cushion.
- Pull firmly on right front lower garnish/sill molding to loosen clips. Lower rear seat back. Remove right quarter trim panel fasteners. Remove right quarter trim panel.
- On all models, disconnect RKE module connector. Pull firmly on RKE module from top to bottom to disengage it from quarter panel. See Fig 1
. To install, reverse removal procedure.
