Circuit Description

Limp home mode is a reduced power condition the vehicle enters after certain faults. In this mode, throttle position is limited to 3.7-9.8 percent. This DTC will set if TP sensor falls to less than 3.7 percent or opens to greater than 9.8 percent while vehicle is in limp home mode. This DTC results in fuel cut-off and engine will not start.
- TP less than 3.7 percent or greater than 9.8 percent.
- Vehicle speed is less than zero MPH.
- Engine speed less than 250 RPM.
- ECT between 41-212°F (5-100°C).
- IAT greater than 41°F (5°C).
- Battery voltage greater than 10 volts.
- Pedal position less than 15 percent.
