Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Saturn LW1, 2000 Saturn LS1, and 2000 Saturn LS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

PCM receives vehicle speed signal from Electronic Brake/Traction Control Module (EBTCM). Signal is a square wave based on the AC signal generated by the right front wheel speed sensor. PCM provides a 5-volt pull-up and EBTCM pulls VSS output to ground to generate the signal.

DTC will set if vehicle speed signal is less than 2 MPH for 5 seconds when engine speed is 1700-3600 RPM, TP is less than one percent and engine vacuum is 70-80 kPa.
