EVAP Canister Vent Solenoid: Removal

The EVAP canister vent solenoid is located on the upper-end of the fuel filler pipe inside the left-rear wheel opening.

1. Position on hoist.
2. Raise vehicle to a comfortable working position.
3. Disconnect EVAP vent solenoid pipe at quick connect.

4. Disconnect wiring harness from EVAP vent solenoid.
5. Slide spring clamp nearest vent solenoid down on molded hose.
6. Disengage (4) locking tabs from shield of EVAP vent solenoid box.
7. Remove shield on EVAP vent solenoid box and slide down molded hose.
8. Remove vent solenoid from box and vent pipe from vehicle.
9. Disconnect vent solenoid from molded rubber hose.
