Fuel Pressure Regulator: Installation
- "O" rings must be oiled, with clean engine oil and installed into the fuel rail before fuel pressure regulator is installed. Install small oiled "O" ring into fuel rail. Install large oiled "O" ring into fuel rail. Install fuel pressure regulator onto the fuel rail. Install retaining bolts.
- Tighten the fuel pressure regulator bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect vacuum line. Energize fuel system. Run vehicle and inspect for leaks.
Install "O" rings on fuel pressure regulator. Install fuel pressure regulator onto fuel rail. Install fuel pressure regulator clamp and retaining bolt. Tighten bolt until clamp comes together. Energize fuel system. Start engine and check for fuel leaks.
