Installation Procedure

  1. Install the OnStar module bracket.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Tighten the OnStar bracket bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement .
  4. Install the right closeout panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
