Power Sliding Door Module Replacement and Initialization Procedure

Replacement of the PSDM requires that the Power Sliding Door System be disabled by removing the PSD 15-amp fuse. Once the PSDM has been replaced and the fuse installed, the following initialization procedure must be performed for both sliding doors in the following order:
- Manually close and latch the power sliding doors.
- Perform two complete Open/Closed cycles for each sliding door using any one of the following devices:
- Appropriate switch mounted in the overhead console
- Appropriate switch mounted to the B pillar
- Remote Transmitter
- Special functions of the scan tool
- With a scan tool, verify that the PSD Open/Closed Position Learned parameter displays "Yes".
- Operate the power sliding door to verify completion of the procedure. Refer to Power Sliding Door (PSD) Description and Operation .
