Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Pontiac Montana SV6, 2007 Chevrolet Uplander, and 2007 Buick Terraza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the radiator.
  2. Install the condenser tube clip screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Install the bolt that secures the radiator to the condenser.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  4. Install the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LZ9) .
  5. Install radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LZ9) .
  6. Install the cooling fans and shroud. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement (LZ9) .
  7. Connect the lower transmission oil cooler (TOC) line to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Replacement .
  8. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill LZ9)  or Draining and Filling Cooling System (Vac-N-Fill) .
  9. Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Checking .
