Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Pontiac Montana SV6, 2007 Chevrolet Uplander, and 2007 Buick Terraza. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Install the ALC sensor to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the height sensor bracket bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the height sensor bracket bolts to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).

  4. Install the ALC sensor link onto the sensor arm ball stud.

  6. Install the ALC height sensor electrical connector (1).
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Install the ELC/TRAILER fuse.
  9. Perform a diagnostic system check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
  10. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
