Removal Procedure

Remove the ELC/TRAILER fuse.

IMPORTANT: When replacing the height sensor a diagnostic system check must be performed.

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

Disconnect the automatic level control (ALC) sensor electrical connector (1).
Remove the ALC sensor link from the sensor arm ball stud.

Remove the ALC sensor bracket bolts (1).
Remove the ALC sensor from the vehicle.
