Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Saturn Ion Red Line, 2005 Saturn Ion 3, 2005 Saturn Ion 2, and 2005 Saturn Ion 1. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the OnStar® bracket to the rear shelf.

    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the OnStar® bracket screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 2.5 N.m (23 lb in).

  3. Install the CIM in the bracket.
  4. Install the rear shelf trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf (Late Production) in Interior Trim.
