Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
    IMPORTANT: When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit carry out a "Reset" using the Tech 2. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References .
  1. Disconnect the battery.
  2. Open the service flap.

  3. Release the rear electronics module (REC).
    • Disconnect the 7 wiring harness plugs (1).
    • Remove the nut (2).
    • Release the retaining lug.

  4. Remove the rear object alarm module (REC).
  5. Remove the object alarm module.
    • Release the control unit (1).
    • Disconnect the 2 wiring harness plugs (2).
