Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.

* Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1).
* Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor (2) from the bracket.
* Remove the bolt (3).

Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the crankshaft position sensor.

Tighten the bolt to 4.5 Nm (40 lb in).

* Install the wiring harness plug into the bracket.
* Install the wiring harness plug.

2. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (Service and Repair).
