Inspection Procedure

1. Check that the power window manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.

   NG: OTHER PROBLEM 

   OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Operate the power window regulator switch.
3. Check the blinking pattern of the light as shown in the illustration below.

   Result 

   POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RESULT REFERENCE (PASSENGER SIDE)

   Pattern (1) or (3) Is displayed	A
   Pattern (2) Is displayed	B
   Normal pattern Is displayed	C

C: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (PASSENGER SIDE) 

A: GO TO NEXT STEP 

OK: END 

NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Disconnect the P12 regulator switch connector.
2. Disconnect the P11 power window motor connector.
3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

   Standard resistance 

   WIRE HARNESS STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

   P12-S (VCC) - P11-4 (SSRB)	Below 1 Ω
   P12-3(PLS)-P11-5(PLS)	Below 1 Ω
   P12-4 (PLS2) - P11-3 (PLS2)	Below 1 Ω
   P12-8(SGND)-P11-6(E)	Below 1 Ω
   P12-5 (VCC) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher
   P12-3 (PLS) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher
   P12-4 (PLS2) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
