DTC B2282: Vehicle Speed Signal Malfunction; DTC B2283: Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction: Description

DTC B2282 is stored when a mismatch between the vehicle speed signal from the direct line sent by the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) and the vehicle speed signal sent via CAN communication is detected.

DTC B2283 is stored when a malfunction in the vehicle speed sensor is detected.

HINT:

When the battery cable is disconnected and reconnected, the power source returns to the mode it was in before the battery cable was disconnected.

When the signal from the direct line or CAN communication is malfunctioning and indicates that the vehicle is moving, the power source mode cannot be turned from on (IG) to off.	-
B2283	If the engine switch is pressed while the vehicle is being driven, the engine switch turns off (the engine stops). When the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is inside the vehicle, the engine does not start even though an engine start operation is performed.	Steering lock motor operation is prohibited.
