DTC C1515, C1516: Torque Sensor Zero Point Adjustment Undone; Torque Sensor Zero Point Adjustment Incomplete: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check if DTC C1516 is output. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      C1516 is output A
      No output B

    B → See step   3 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. INITIALIZE ROTATION ANGLE SENSOR AND CALIBRATE TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT 
    1. Initialize the rotation angle sensor value and calibrate the torque sensor zero point. Refer to CALIBRATION .

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  4. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR .

      Result

      Condition Proceed to
      DTC C1515 or C1516 is still output after performing torque sensor zero point calibration 3 times A
      DTC C1515 or C1516 is not output B
      NOTE: If DTC C1515 or C1516 is output even though the torque sensor zero point calibration has been performed, confirm the procedure again and perform calibration 3 times.

    B → END

  5. GO TO DTCS C1511 TO C1514 AND DTC C1517. Refer to  DTC C1511, C1512, C1513, C1514, C1517: Torque Sensor Circuit Malfunction; Torque Sensor Circuit Malfunction; Torque Sensor Circuit Malfunction; Torque Sensor Power Supply Abnormal; Torque Hold Abnormal
