DTC B1760: Occupant Classification Sensor Circuit [05/2014 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Check that the connector is properly connected to the occupant detection ECU.
OK
The connector is properly connected.
HINT:
If the connectors are not connected securely, reconnect the connectors and proceed to the next inspection.
- Disconnect the connector from the occupant detection ECU.
- Check that the terminal of the connector is not damaged.
OK
The terminal is not deformed or damaged.
NG → REPLACE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK DTC
- Connect the connector to the occupant detection ECU.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Clear the DTCs stored in the occupant detection ECU. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [05/2014 - ] .
- Clear the DTCs stored in the airbag ECU assembly. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [05/2014 - ] .
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [05/2014 - ]

DTC B1760 is not output.
HINT:
Codes other than DTC B1760 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.
NG → REPLACE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
