DTC P0140-00: O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2) [07/2015 - ]: Procedure
- PURPOSE: VERIFY CONNECTOR CONNECTIONS
- Start the engine.
- Access the following PIDs using the Techstream:
Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [07/2015 - ]
- Heated Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor Heater (bank 1, sensor 2)
- Heated Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor (bank 1, sensor 2)
- When the following parts are shaken, does the PID value include a PID item which has changed?
- HO2S
- ECM

- Determine the malfunctioning part by inspecting the common connector and the terminal for corrosion, damage, or pin disconnection, and the common wiring harness for an open circuit.
- Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
If there is no common connector:
- Repair or replace the wiring harness which has an open circuit.
