Remove/Install Tie Rod Ball Joint - AR46.40-P-0210SR

	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Raise vehicle with vehicle lift	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
2	Counterhold tie rod (2) and release jam nut (3)	The tie rod (2) must be counterheld here. Otherwise the tie rod (2) may be damaged. Once released, do not turn jam nut (3) any more on the tie rod (2). Jam nut at tie rod	*BA46.40-P-1002-01F
3	Unscrew nut (4), pry off tie rod end (1) using puller from steering knuckle (5) and unhook	Carefully pry off tie rod end (1). Otherwise the boot may be damaged. : Check boot, if necessary replace tie rod end (1). Self-locking nut, tie rod to steering knuckle	*BA46.40-P-1001-01F

4	Counterhold tie rod (2) and unscrew tie rod end (1) from tie rod (2)	: Check tie rod end (1) for play, replace if necessary.
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Perform wheel alignment check		AR40.20-P-0200SR
