Keyless Entry Control Module Power & Ground Supply

NOTE: For keyless entry control module input/output signal and connector identification, see Figure .
  1. Check fuse No. 11 (20-amp), located in fuse panel near left kick panel. Replace if necessary. If fuse is okay, disconnect fuse box 12-pin harness connector. Check voltage between ground and fuse box harness connector terminal No. 8. If voltage is 10 volts or greater, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair circuit between fuse box and battery. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Disconnect keyless entry control module harness connector. Check voltage between ground and keyless entry control module harness connector terminal No. 3. If voltage is 10 volts or greater, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair circuit between keyless entry control module and fuse box.
  3. Check resistance between ground and keyless entry control harness connector terminal No. 8. If resistance is less than 10 ohms, perform BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM)  . If resistance is 10 ohms or greater, repair circuit between keyless entry control module and ground.
