Security Control Module Power & Ground Supply

NOTE: For security control module input/output signal and connector terminal identification, see Figure .
  1. Check fuse No. 7 (20-amp) in main fuse box. Replace if necessary. If fuse is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check fuse No. 2 (15-amp) in main fuse box. Replace if necessary. If fuse is okay, go to next step.
  3. Disconnect main fuse box 4-pin harness connector. Check voltage between ground and fuse box harness connector terminal No. 4 (White wire). If voltage is 10 volts or greater, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair circuit between main fuse box and battery. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  4. Disconnect security control module harness connector. Check voltage between ground and security control module harness connector terminal No. 11. See Figure . If voltage is 10 volts or greater, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair circuit between security control module and main fuse box.
  5. Check voltage between ground and main fuse box 4-pin harness connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Red wire). If voltage is 10 volts or greater, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair circuit between main fuse box and battery.
  6. Check voltage between ground and security control module harness connector terminal No. 13. See Figure . If voltage is 10 volts or greater, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair circuit between security control module and main fuse box.
  7. Check resistance between ground and security control module harness connector terminal No. 14. If resistance is less than 10 ohms, perform BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES (ANTI-THEFT/SECURITY SYSTEM)  . If resistance is not less than 10 ohms, repair circuit between security control module and ground.
