Removal And Installation

Disconnect battery ground cable.

Remove side sill front cover.

Detach floor mat of front passenger seat.

Remove protect cover.

Remove nuts which hold ECM to bracket.

Remove clip from bracket.

Disconnect ECM connectors.

Fig 7: Disconnecting ECM Connectors
Take out ECM.

Fig 8: Removing ECM
Install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION: When replacing ECM, be careful not to use the wrong specification. ECM to avoid any damage to the fuel injection system.
