Section 4 (Manual A/C-Heater System): Description

System delivers outside air into passenger compartment through center and side ventilator grilles when blower fan is operated. The heating and ventilating system consists of mode doors, an air mix door, intake door and blower motor. Vehicle is also equipped with front side window defroster and rear heater duct.
The A/C-heater system consists of control panel, A/C compressor, condenser, receiver-drier, expansion valve and evaporator. The A/C-heater system uses a dual pressure switch, compressor clutch delay system, compressor control system, thermo control amplifier, and Fast Idle Control Device (FICD) system.
