CAUTION: This procedure requires the vehicle to be placed on rollers or raised and supported on sturdy jack stands to allow free movement of both front and rear wheels. Ensure all safety precautions are exercised to ensure well being of technicians and equipment during this procedure. Ensure fuel tank is maintained at about 1/2 full and battery voltage is above 12 volts during test.
NOTE: This procedure is used to confirm repair procedure has addressed fault and DTC is no longer present. Some DTCs on Forester, Legacy and Outback models require verification by driving the vehicle. See DRIVE CYCLES .
