Select Cable: Installation

Install the select cable to plate assembly.
Tightening torque:

32 N.m (3.3 kgf-m, 24 ft-lb)
Install the select cable to range select lever.
Install the plate assembly to transmission.

Tightening torque:

T: 24.5 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.1 ft-ib)
Install the snap pin to range select lever.

Move the select lever to the "N" position, then adjust the select cable position. < Ref. to ADJUSTMENT , Select Cable. >
Install the heat shield cover. (If equipped)
Install the front and center exhaust pipe. (Non-turbo model) < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Exhaust Pipe. >
Install the center exhaust pipe. (Turbo model) < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Center Exhaust Pipe. >
