Select Lever: Removal

Move the select lever to the "N" position.
Remove rear exhaust pipe and muffler. 2.5 L model
Refer to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe and REMOVAL , Muffler 3.0 L model

Refer to REMOVAL , Rear Exhaust Pipe and REMOVAL , Mufflers.
Remove heat shield cover.

Disconnect cable from select lever and then remove cable bracket.

Remove console box. Refer to REMOVAL , Console Box.
Disconnect the connectors, then remove the four bolts to take out the selector lever assembly from the body.
