Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

AT Shift Lock Solenoid and "P" Position Switch

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2. Remove the console box.
3. Disconnect the connector.
4. Remove the grip.





5. Remove the indicator light from indicator cover.





6. Remove the indicator cover.
7. Remove the slider.
8. Remove the cushion.





9. Remove the clip, and then remove the "P" position switch.





10. Remove the cover.





11. Remove the clamp and remove the shift lock solenoid.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
