Diagnostic Method

1. There is no tank pressure variation when there is fuel temperature variation of 7°C (45°F).
2. There is no tank pressure variation even when there is fuel level variation of 2 l (0.5 US gal, 0.4 lmp gal or more every 60 seconds.

Judge NG when both of the conditions above are experienced.

  1. Time Needed for Diagnosis:  10 minutes
  2. Malfunction Indicator Light Illumination:  Illuminates when malfunction occurs in 2 continuous driving cycles.
• Normality Judgment 

  Judge OK when both of the conditions below are experienced, and clear NG.
