DTC P0604: Internal Control Module Random Access Memory (Ram) Error
- OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS
- Detect the malfunction of micro-computer (RAM).
- Zero clear the all normal RAM on initial routine, and judge NG when the sum of cleared RAM is not "0".
- ENABLE CONDITION
Perform the diagnosis without condition by initial routine.
- GENERAL DRIVING CYCLE
Perform the diagnosis only once immediately after the IG key is turned to ON.
- DIAGNOSTIC METHOD
Judge NG when the malfunction criteria below are completed, and judge OK at the IG key turned to ON

- DTC CLEAR CONDITION
- When the OK idling cycle is completed 40 times in a row
- When "Clear Memory" was performed
- MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT CLEAR CONDITION
- When the OK driving cycle is completed 3 times in a row
- When "Clear Memory" was performed
- FAIL SAFE

- ECM OPERATION AT DTC SETTING
Memorize the freeze frame data. (For test mode $02)
