Intake Manifold: Installation

Install the intake manifold onto cylinder heads.
NOTE: Use a new gasket.

Tightening torque:

25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18 ft-lb)

Connect the fuel hoses.
NOTE: If fuel hoses or clamps are damaged, replace them with new ones.

Install the EGR pipe to intake manifold and cylinder head.
Tightening torque:

34 N.m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.6 ft-lb)

Connect the connectors to engine coolant temperature sensor.

Connect the connector to front oxygen (A/F) sensor.

Connect the connector to camshaft position sensor.

Connect the connector to power steering pump switch (A).
Connect the connector to oil pressure switch (B).

Connect the connector to crankshaft position sensor.

Connect the knock sensor connector.

Connect the engine harness connectors to bulkhead harness connectors.

Connect the brake booster hose.

Connect the engine coolant hoses (A) to throttle body.

Connect the PCV hose to intake manifold.

Install the generator. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Generator. >
Connect the spark plug cords to spark plugs.
Install the air cleaner case and air intake chamber. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Cleaner Case.> < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Intake Chamber. >
Install the fuse of fuel pump to main fuse box.
Connect the battery ground cable to battery.
