DTC P1443 Vent Control Solenoid Valve Function Problem

DTC DETECTING CONDITION: 

TROUBLE SYMPTOM: 

Improper fuel supply

CAUTION: After repairing or replacing the defective part, perform the Clear Memory Mode < Ref. to OPERATION , Clear Memory Mode. > and Inspection Mode < Ref. to PROCEDURE , Inspection Mode. >.

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

Step Check Yes No
1 CHECK ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.  Is any other DTC displayed? Check the relevant DTC using "List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". < Ref. to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > Go to step .
2 CHECK VENT LINE HOSES. 
Check the following items.
  • Clogging of vent hoses between canister and drain valve
  • Clogging of vent hose between drain valve and air filter
  • Clogging of drain filter
Is there any fault in the vent line? Repair or replace faulty parts. Go to step .
3 CHECK DRAIN VALVE OPERATION. 
  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Connect the test mode connector at the lower portion of instrument panel (on the driver's side).
  3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  4. Check the drain valve.
NOTE: Drain valve operation can be executed using Subaru Select Monitor. For procedure, refer to "Compulsory Valve Operation Check Mode". < Ref. to COMPULSORY VALVE OPERATION CHECK MODE . >
Does the drain valve operate? Contact the SOA service center. Replace the drain valve. < Ref. to DRAIN VALVE . >
