Check Impact Sensor

  1. Remove the key from ignition switch.
  2. Close all windows.
  3. Close all the doors and rear gate. Leave the front hood open.
  4. Press the LOCK button of the keyless transmitter from outside the vehicle.
  5. After 30 seconds, check if the security indicator light blinks twice in 0.5 second at 2 seconds intervals.
  6. For all glasses, hit the glass strongly and consecutively to see if the security alarm operates. In addition, lift the front hood by approximately 12 cm (4.7 in) or more and let it drop by its weight to see if the security alarm operates.
  7. If it does not operate, adjust the impact sensitivity.
