Circuit Description

The sensor built in the air pressure sensor assembly detects an intake manifold pressure as a voltage. Also, the air pressure sensor assembly is not affected by air pressure variation caused by a change in altitude or other factors because it detects pressure inside the intake manifold via absolute pressure instead of barometric pressure as reference.

DTC No. DTC detection condition Suspected parts
P0107 Vacuum sensor voltage is 0.568V or less for 2.0 seconds or longer. (1-trip detection logic)
  • Open or short condition in vacuum sensor circuit
  • Vacuum sensor
  • ECM
P0108 Vacuum sensor voltage is 4.855V or more for 2.0 seconds or longer. (1-trip detection logic)
NOTE: After checking DTC outputs, use SSM3 to read the following menu items: [BRZ Check] / [Each System Check] / [Engine Control System] / [Current Data Display & Save] / [Mani. Absolute Pressure]. (Refer to CURRENT DATA DISPLAY & SAVE / SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK MODE )
