Brake Control Brake Actuator Assembly: Installation
- Installation of brake actuator Assembly W/bracket
- With 4 bolts, install the brake actuator Assembly W/bracket to the body.CAUTION: Do not bend or damage the brake tubes.
Standard value: T=33N.m {338kgf.cm} {24.3ft.lbf}
- Connect the vehicle wiring harness to the brake actuator Assembly.
- Rotate the lock lever for the vehicle wiring harness downward, and engage the claw of the vehicle wiring harness connector to lock it.CAUTION:
- Before connecting the vehicle wiring harness, make sure there is no foreign matter is on the connector surface.
- After connecting the vehicle wiring harness, make sure that the lock lever is securely locked.
- Using a flare-nut wrench, connect 2 brake tubes to the brake actuator Assembly.
Standard value: T=19N.m {194kgf.cm} {14.0ft.lbf}
- Using a flare-nut wrench, connect 4 brake tubes to the brake actuator Assembly.
Standard value: T=15N.m {155kgf.cm} {11.1ft.lbf}
- Attach the clamp to the wiring harness of the speed sensor FR LH.
- Install the cooler pipe to the clamp.
- Attach 2 harness clamps.
- With 4 bolts, install the brake actuator Assembly W/bracket to the body.
- Brake fluid refill (Refer to BRAKE FLUID )
- Air bleeding of brake system (Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- Brake fluid leak check
- Brake fluid level check (Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- Installation of front mud guard LH (Refer to INSTALLATION )
- Installation of front tire LH
Standard value: T=120N.m {1224kgf.cm} {88.5ft.lbf}
- Centering of VSC (VDC) sensor (Refer to WORK SUPPORT )
