Circuit description

The steering lock actuator assembly (Steering lock ECM) drives the lock motor that inserts the lock bar into the steering column to lock the steering wheel.

During steering lock operation, there may be cases where the lock bar does not fit into the steering column lock hole, causing the steering to become unable to be locked. In this case, in the same manner as for conventional plate key vehicles, the steering can be locked after slightly turning the steering wheel and changing the steering column lock hole position.
