DTC U0230 Lost Communication With Power Rear Gate Control Module: Wiring Diagram

DIAGNOSTICS PROCEDURE

| 1 CHECK DTC
. Read the DTC of body integrated unit using Subaru Select Monitor. |
Is DTC U0230 displayed? (Current malfunction) | Go to step 2 . | Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE:
In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.

2 CHECK DTC

Is DTC U0230 displayed? (Current malfunction) | Go to step 3 . | Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE:
In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.

3 CHECK HARNESS

Is the voltage 9 V or more? | Go to step 4 . | Repair the open circuit of harness. |
4 CHECK HARNESS
