How To Proceed With Troubleshooting: Notes
NOTE:
- Use these procedures to troubleshoot the engine immobilizer system.

- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage: 11 to 14V
If the voltage is below 11V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
NOTE: A simple method to determine whether the battery is depleted is to operate the horn.NEXT
- CAN communication system check
- Check CAN communication system. (Refer to HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT
)
