DTC B1242: Malfunctions In Wireless Tuner System: Notes
Circuit description
The door control receiver is used to receive radio wave signals related to the entry function of the entry & start system. The collation ECM (smart key ECM assembly) decodes the requested entry & start system operation by identifying the key code based on the radio wave signal received via the door control receiver. The door control receiver receives signals from the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly and transmits them to the main body ECM via the collation ECM (smart key ECM assembly). Then, collation ECM (smart key ECM assembly) transmits a command corresponding to the requested operation to each ECM. (Example: If a door lock operation is requested, the collation ECM (smart key ECM assembly) transmits the door lock command to the main body ECM.)
