Reading values with SSM3 (answer-back operation)

Referring to the TABLE below, perform settings.

Inspecting wireless door lock control function

Inspect the wireless door lock control functions using the door control transmitter module set sub-assembly.

Checking wireless answer-back operation

Inspect the wireless answer-back operation using the door control transmitter module set sub-assembly.

Executing system operation check mode with SSM3 (wireless door lock buzzer)

Connect the SSM3 to the DLC3.
Turn IG SW to ON.
Turn on the SSM3.
Enter the following menus. [Integ. unit mode] →[Work Support]→[System Operation Check Mode]

Execute the system operation check mode according to the SSM3 display.

Inspecting wiring harness and connector (wireless door lock buzzer - main body ECM)

Measure the resistance according to the following table.

Resistance

RESISTANCE REFERENCE

NG: Repair or replacement of wiring harness or connector

OK: Go to next step

Replacing wireless door lock buzzer
1. Temporarily replace the wireless door lock buzzer with a new one. (Refer to REMOVAL )

1. Check the wireless answer-back function operation.
  Criteria: The wireless answer-back function operates properly
  
  NG: Replacement of the main body ECM (multiplex network body ECM)
  
  OK: Complete (Wireless door lock buzzer is faulty)
Hazard warning light operation
1. Check that the hazard warning light blinks when the hazard warning switch is pressed.
  Criteria: Hazard warning light signal is normal
  
  NG: Refer to the lighting system (Symptom table)
  
  OK: Replacement of the main body ECM (multiplex network body ECM)
