DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

1 CHECK PRE-INSPECTION.

Is the item that is thought to influence the CVT problem working properly? | Go to step 2 . | Repair the items which may be affecting the CVT trouble. |
| 2 CHECK AT OIL TEMP LIGHT. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for at least 2 seconds. |
Does the AT OIL TEMP light illuminate? | Go to step 3 . | Check the AT OIL TEMP light. |
| 3 CHECK AT OIL TEMP LIGHT. Start the engine and wait for 2 seconds or more. |
Does the AT OIL TEMP light blink? | Go to step 4 . | Go to step 5 . |
| 4 CHECK DTC DISPLAY. Read the DTC.
NOTE:
If the communication function of Subaru Select Monitor cannot be executed normally, check the communication circuit. < Ref. to

Is DTC displayed on Subaru Select Monitor? | Record the DTC, time stamp and freeze frame data. Go to step 6.

5 PERFORM GENERAL DIAGNOSTICS.

Is DTC displayed on Subaru Select Monitor? | Go to step 6 . | Finish the diagnosis. |
6 PERFORM DIAGNOSIS.

Is DTC displayed on Subaru Select Monitor? | Inspect by referring to "Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". < Ref. to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > | Finish the diagnosis. |
